Case Manager - Family Based

CARE of Southeastern MI is currently hiring a full-time Case Manager - Family Based.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain a case load and deliver services.
Conducts screenings and comprehensive assessments for early childhood issues and co-occurring behavioral health issues according to best practices and agency policy and procedures.
Provide in-home parenting support and facilitate parenting lessons.
Implements and monitors treatment plans that are developed with a Person-centered/Family-centered philosophy.
Responsible for the identification of treatment referrals/resources within the community appropriate to meeting the needs of the individuals served.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer/community services, family studies, family and/or child development, guidance/school counseling, counseling psychology, education, public health, human services, or criminal justice.
Skills and
Experience:
Experience working with early childhood issues or related field.
Lived experience as a parent or caregiver is preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must possess knowledge and understanding of childhood development milestones and trauma informed services.
Recommended Skills Assessments Behavioral Medicine Criminal Justice Education Mental Health Counseling People Services Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
