Contract Corporate Training Program and LMS Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Training Program and LMS Coordinator who is looking to work with the largest privately-held rigid plastics manufacturer in North America.
The Training Program Coordinator/LMS Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and coordination of company training programs, and the maintenance of company training systems.
Having strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills will be the foundation for success in this position.
The successful candidate is flexible, and confident, and can communicate with different levels of the organization to achieve targets and goals while handling information confidentially.
You Will:
Training Program Organize, prepare, compile and ship meeting and training materials to multiple locations Plan, schedule, and coordinate training of company personnel Assist in creating and proofing any and all training materials Participate in meetings that relate to the creation or revision of training curriculum, schedules, and rotation plans Maintain all training files and understand the importance of training requirements, training timelines, record storage and retention requirements Manage event registration, rosters, communications, logistical inquiries Coordinate and communicate with event facilitators Assist with event scheduling:
identify location needs, secure room reservations, manage room set-up needs, test technology and tech support, and coordinating event refreshments when required Confirm that needed supplies, materials, and equipment are in place, and communicate and escalate as needed/appropriate to address event needs Compile, format, analyze and summarize evaluation data Order and maintain general supplies, document needs, track, and communicate supply levels, timing, and forecasts for training team May assist with session scheduling, testing, and set-up in live, distance-learning or virtual training or presentations/meetings (ex.
Zoom, WebEx, etc.
) May produce virtual training sessions (ex.
Zoom, WebEx, etc.
).
While the instructor presents content/course, the producer will monitor the technical aspects of the training session Maintain quality responses and response time for the program mailboxes and other program support, including email and phone inquiries Work to support training events may require movement and carry of printed training materials such as training class materials, participant/instructor guides, training class supplies, laptop or LCD projector equipment, flip chart/easel stands, screens, etc.
LMS:
Serve as the Learning Management System (LMS) point of contact Responsible for monitoring imports daily and reviewing for errors Promote best practice approaches for updating and maintaining the Learning Management System Support end users with questions on running reports, loading courses, and general functions as well as troubleshoot issues Liaison between the vendor and Plastipak for communicating system issues (creating customer support tickets, following through until resolution) Assist in uploading and testing courses created by the course designers/technical trainers Review and test system updates pushed out by the vendor You Have:
Bachelors degree preferred 2
years of experience and knowledge in training coordination/event/project management Excellent quality assurance skills and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to self-direct, set priorities in work assignments, and execute projects with minimal direction Ability to prioritize work efficiently on multiple projects and tasks Good collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on results Self-motivated and independent to drive tasks forward Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel and comfortable in learning and use of computer software as required for the role Proficient with LMS and other eLearning-related technology Ability to work in an open environment, handle shifting priorities, accept routine interruptions, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor Ability to routinely handle packages and objects, including lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 25 lbs.
