Fraser Position Summary Michigan Outpatient Surgery Center has a rewarding full-time opportunity available for an Outpatient Surgery Center Cleaner.
Responsibilities include cleaning patient entrance areas, lobby, waiting room, hallways, lunchroom, procedure room, operating room, and bathrooms.
Tasks include mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, wiping surfaces, emptying trash cans, replacing the supplies in the bathroom, and locking and securing the facility at the end of the shift.
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of all assigned areas, including patient rooms, waiting areas, offices, and restrooms.
Adhere to established guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and patient care areas.
Collect and dispose of trash and biomedical waste in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
Vacuum, mop, and/or sweep floors in patient and non-patient areas.
Prepare rooms for the next patient, ensuring all surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
Report any issues with equipment or supplies to the appropriate personnel.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as spills or contamination, to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Requirements High school graduate or equivalent, required 2 years experience commercial cleaning experience, required Experience cleaning a medical clinic or surgery center, preferred Weekday availability for routine cleaning Occasional weekend availability for deep cleaning Willingness to cover shifts, if needed Ability to follow the Daily Task and Weekly Task lists Use of appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies effectively Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies and appropriate measures used to avoid injuries Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds Ability to notice small details and produce high-quality results Willing to correct any concerns or issues from an inspection Demonstrates self-motivation and organizational abilities to work efficiently and effectively.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
