Responsibilities:
Develops and establishes quality system procedures and supporting documented information in compliance with AS13100, AS9100, AS9102, ISO, and customer requirements.
Ensures the promotion of awareness of the Quality Management System throughout the organization.
You will host and conduct internal and external Quality Management System audits, responsible for related activities including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determining proper corrective/preventive actions, as well as, performing follow-up and effectiveness of these actions.
Provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.
Providing technical support to the Purchasing department and Receiving Inspection by reviewing procedures, specifications, instructions, and processes to ensure compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, and standards to resolve Quality and Delivery concerns.
Participates in management and improvement of the quality performance of our sub-tiers via on-site audits, and root cause/corrective action effectiveness review.
Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the BMT Management team to drive quality improvement programs.
Serve as a liaison to customer representatives for the Quality discipline as needed.
Conduct Gage R&R studies.
Support FAI activities IAW AS9102 and customer requirements.
EDUCATION &
Experience:
Bachelors Degree 2
Years of professional experience.
Understand internal and external customer requirements with high attention to detail in resolving findings.
Ability to understand and interpret engineering technical data, such as manufacturing or part drawings and specifications, to guide cross-functional teams.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, strong presentation, planning, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and decision-making skills.
Strong knowledge and experience of aerospace quality standards including AS13100, AS9100, AS9102, and ISO.
Knowledge of APQP and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Knowledge of statistical process control.
Ability to process and communicate information using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, as well as, internal and external customers.
