Fixed Asset Accountant - Now Hiring

We are seeking a motivated, driven Fixed Assets Accountant, who is looking to accelerate career growth within the largest privately-held rigid plastics manufacturer in North America.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a key member of our Fixed Asset team.
You Will:
Identify, track, and audit Plastipak -owned plant, property, and equipment.
Review projects for proper accounting treatment.
Create, budget, and release approved projects in SAP project systems.
Review and Maintain capital, customer-funded and R&D projects.
Reconcile PP&E and customer-funded general ledger accounts.
Capitalize assets as they are placed in service.
Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Work with sites to track asset movements and disposals.
Perform asset and key control audits.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related degree.
1-4 years of accounting or related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Salary:
$19.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
