Ensures that inventory is accurate, customer shipments are met, and that the entire production/materials process runs smoothly Inventory Functions:
Ensures materials availability based on forecasts and usage to support production requirements while preventing excesses.
Establishes measurements and maintains inventory accuracy.
Schedule and manage all cycle count and semiannual physical inventory Scheduling Access, review and monitor all customer releases/requirements Responsible for scheduling equipment in a manner to meet customer requirements.
Communicate and work with operations on status of the schedule Logistics Functions Overseas all transactions and material handling functions regarding shipping, receiving and plant transfers of materials Ensure proper handling of receiving discrepancies and damaged material.
Additional Functions Supervises daily activities of the Materials department's Monitor and enforce process compliance and company policies and procedures Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, ensures that continuous improvement activities are planned and executed Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of materials supervisory experience, manufacturing experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team oriented and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills An ability to work independently and control multiple projects.
Inventory control experience Experience in directing and planning schedules and shipping Detail oriented, accuracy is important Job Type:
