Job Description

 


Essential Functions:



  • Performs a combination of dusting, cleaning walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers and restrooms.

  • Sweep, mop, scrubs, strip, extract, wax, buff, vacuum, etc. all types of floors.

  • Clean all windows as requested

  • Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas.

  • Perform light facility maintenance as assigned.

  • Keep building entryways free of snow and debris.

  • Keep records of inventory and reorder supplies when necessary

  • Maintain and keep all equipment used on the job in good working order

  • Check and maintain all eyewash and shower stations bi-weekly.

  • Clean all microwaves and refrigerators as assigned.

  • Pick up loose debris outside of the facility as assigned.

  • Report unsafe conditions/problems to maintenance supervisor.

  • Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace.

  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This is a Full-time position


Must be available to work weekends when requested from Supervisor.


Required Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma/GED Required.

  • Custodial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job and work in a safe and efficient manner.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
